Functional Fitness for Aging Adults

Can you lift that milk jug without wrenching your elbow?

Can you get that box off the top shelf without dropping it?

If you fall, how do you get back up safely?

Monday mornings, beginning September 10, we will gather with coaches Matt and Jen from Industrial Athletics for a functional fitness class for older adults. In this class, we’ll cover strength and skills for everyday life. We will work on building the strength, mobility, and balance that are necessary to maintaining independence and fitness as we grow older. While we encourage regular attendance, feel free to drop in once or twice and see if it’s for you!

Recommended donation: $5/class.

Drop ins are welcome on a first-come first served basis if there is space available in the class. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to your first class to fill out the registration form and waiver.
